Directions from Mandeville/Covington/Slidell to Carter Plantation

Travel West on I-12 towards Baton Rouge.
Take Exit 35 Baptist/Pumpkin Center. (Total distance from I-12 to Carter Plantation is 5 miles.)
Turn left at the end of the ramp and cross over the overpass.
Travel South for 2.7 miles.
Continue to the end of this road and turn right onto Highway 22.
Follow Highway 22 into the town of Springfield (.6 miles).
Take a left at the red light located in the center of Springfield.
Go two blocks and turn right onto State Road 1038, also known as Carter Cemetery Road, which is next to the First Baptist Church.
Travel 1.5 miles. Carter Plantation is located at the end of Carter Cemetery Road. There are signs directing you to The Pavilion and the Carter House (Discovery Center and Real Estate Sales Office).
